In a brief statement made on Facebook June 1, 2016, This Day Burns announced that drummer Skye McLean has left the band. McLean will be focusing his time with other Victoria band, Vaultry.
This Day Burns have also teased a forthcoming album posting what is spectulated to be cover artwork shortly after announcing McLean’s departure.
The band is now actively seeking a new drummer.

We are sad to say that Skye has left the band. We know it was a tough decision on his part, but it was something that he needed to do in order to move forward on his path. We will miss having him in the band and wish him well in his future endeavours with Vaultry. – Jon
