Statement from The New Groovement
The New Groovement is proud to announce the newest member of the group, Steph Wisla on vocals! Steph is an incredibly talented solo artist with a fantastic voice and great energy. Having performed with a number of music ensembles and attended the cadet music program, Steph is a well-rounded up-and-coming musician who has a knack for making songs sound beautiful. After absolutely slaying audiences on our recent tour through the mainland, we knew we had to ask her to join the band. Together we’ve been working on some exciting new tunes and turning up the heat on stage. You may not have heard much from us in the past few weeks, but that’s because we’ve been getting ready and carefully preparing to unleash full throttle funk for the coming summer festival season. Want to hear what we’ve been up to? Well your chance is COMING UP! Check us out with Steph Wisla on June 17th at Lucky Bar, Victoria for a killer night featuring The New Groovement and Travel Light. It’s going to be legendary.

The New Groovement would also like to send our best wishes and our sincerest thank you to Theresa Pasaluko for her incredible work with the band, and whose fantastic voice helped bring us to where we are today. Theresa decided to take a step back from her role in the band earlier this year in order to work on her own project and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors. She was an integral part of the band and we appreciate everything she brought us for the past four years.

This is an exciting time for The New Groovement and we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on for the past three months! Join us on Friday, June 17 at Lucky to see us again in full NGM glory.
