20. BUM at Rifflandia 2014- A Promise is a Promise (September 13, 2014)
Number 20 of my top moments of 2014 goes to BUM, a pop punk band that reunited after 20 years. The last time this band performed together I was in junior high and was clueless to the local music scene then. I didn’t even know Rob Nesbitt was in a band, I only knew him as the owner of Pic-a-Flic Video in Cook Street Village and the husband of a former co-worker. I have to say their music holds up 20 years later and hopefully their Rifflandia reunion show wasn’t just a one-off. Here’s a performance of their first single ‘A Promise is a Promise’.
