Two-time Juno Award winning DJ REZZ and Ja Rule headline the first wave of acts announced for Rifflandia 2024.
In a unique strategy, the music festival is announcing each day’s lineup 3 weeks apart with the first wave announcement being the lineup for Friday September 13, 2024.
Other notable names performing on the Friday of Rifflandia will be American rapper/record producer Channel Tres doing a DJ set, C&C Music Factory, Tokyo Police Club making a Victoria stop on their farewell tour, SkiiTour and Born Ruffians.
Rifflandia’s Saturday lineup will be announced on May 9th followed by the Sunday lineup being revealed on May 30th. Weekend pass prices will incrementally increase the day after each announcement. Also single day tickets will be made available after each day’s announcement.
As previously announced in February, Rifflandia will be held on one weekend entirely on the Matullia Lands at Rock Bay and the Phillips Brewery grounds that was the location of Electric Avenue in 2023. The festival will be using more of the Matullia Lands property this year. The festival will feature the Rifflandia main stage, a stage at the Phillips loading bay, the dome and a comedy stage.
Local dance music event promoters Club Loading will be curating some of the DJ lineup performing in the dome stage.
Rifflandia President and CEO Nick Blasko announced during an interview on The [email protected] that the dome will be larger this year. He also revealed that his team has been testing different types of artificial turf to add to the site.
Music will go until midnight on the Friday and Saturday. The Sunday of the festival will conclude around 10:30 or 11pm.
Much like when the festival was held at Royal Athletic Park, Rifflandia will feature a ‘Kidlandia’ area.
Rifflandia 2024 will take place Friday September 13 to Sunday September 15, 2024. Weekend passes and single day tickets are available at rifflandia.com
