Rifflandia will move their flagship music festival from Royal Athletic Park to Matullia Lands at Rock Bay.

After hosting Rifflandia’ Festival’s Electric Avenune on the Matullia Lands in 2022 and 2023, Rifflandia Entertainment Company has decided to move the entire festival.

Rifflandia 2024 will be an all-ages festival at the one site for one weekend from Friday September 13 to Sunday September 15. Festival organizers and the land owners have signed a multi-year agreement.

“The lands at Rock Bay have served as an important gathering point for generations,” said Matullia Holdings Operations Manager John Rice. “We look forward to continuing and building on this powerful cultural legacy.”

Royal Athletic Park was the flagship venue for Rifflandia for 10 festivals starting in 2011. Prior to 2011, headliners performed in Market Square. The festival went on hiatus after the 2018 edition and returned in 2022 with bigger acts in Lorde, Charli XCX and DJ Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal). 2023 saw the expansion to two weekends and bringing a larger main stage to Electric Avenue on the Matullia Lands to host headliners Paris Hilton and Run The Jewels.
