Victoria’s Hermann’s Jazz Club will welcome back live audiences to the concert venue starting Wednesday July 14, 2021.
The announcement was made by the Arts on View Society in an email to its supporters and followers.
Tickets will begin to go on sale Friday June 25, 2021. Only 40 tickets per show will be available. More seats may be made available pending the province easing COVID-19 restrictions further in early July.
Doors for evening shows will open at 5:30pm with shows starting at 7pm. Matinee shows will have doors open at 12:30pm with performances beginning at 1:30pm.
The first concert with a live audience will be the CMYC Faculty featuring Ryan Oliver on July 14. Other artists performing in July include Stephen Feering, David Vest, Kelby Macnayr and Ashley Wey.
Thursday July 15 will mark the 2nd year anniversary of the Arts on View Society’s lease of Hermann’s Jazz Club.
“To have survived the last eight months’ closure and now announce that we are reopening feels incredible,” said the Arts on View Society in their email. “Arts On View wishes to express our most sincere thanks to all of you for keeping live music live and we are so excited to welcome you back.”
