Victoria composers Blitz//Berlin and Victoria metal band Unleash The Archers have won 2021 Juno Awards
Blitz Berlin were awarded Instrumental Album of the Year.
The win is for their album ‘Movements III’ and was announced at the awards’ opening gala Saturday June 5, 2021. It is their first Juno win. They were previously nominated in 2017 for their album ‘Movements I’.
Blitz//Berlin beat another Victoria nominee in David Foster in the category.
On Twitter, the trio tweeted they were “in shock”. On Facebook they said, “Well that was unexpected! Feeling so humbled and grateful today. Thank you The JUNO Awards for this honor!”
Unleash The Archers won Metal/Hard Music Album of The Year. “Still can’t believe it’s true!!!,” said Unleash The Archers on Twitter. “Thanks so much everyone for all your support!!! We love you all.”
