Victoria’s Kristina Helene and Kandle are both nominated for Canadian Independent Music Video Awards.
The third annual Canadian Independent Music Video Awards is a competition presented by Dropout Entertainment, a site that promotes independent Canadian musicians.
Kristina Helene is nominated in the ‘Pop’ category for her video for ‘Somehow‘, Helene’s holiday single that was released in early December.
Kandle’s music video for her song ‘Lock & Load‘ is nominated in the ‘Indie-Rock’ category. Her James Bond themed video was released in early November.
The first of two rounds of voting has started. People can vote once per genre per day until January 17, 2021. Four finalists per genre based on online votes and judges votes will compete in a second round of voting from January 18 to January 31, 2021.
Prizes include subscriptions to SonicBids, Long & McQuade gift cards and a grand prize of $500.
