Fernfest has been postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Fernwood Neighbourhood Resource Group made the announcement on social media and their website May 5.
In the announcement organizers said “the health and safety of our patrons, staff, volunteers, and community is of the utmost importance to us and so we’ve decided to postpone our festival during the Covid-19 pandemic.”
FernFest was scheduled to take place June 19 and 20, 2020 in Fernwood Square. It would have been the 25th anniversary edition of the festival.
The new dates will be Friday June 18 and Saturday June 19, 2021.
