At a ceremony held at Toronto’s Koerner Hall Monday January 15, 2018, Victoria musicians Jason Buie and David Vest both received 2018 Maple Blues Awards.
Buie was named ‘New Artist of The Year’ and Vest won for ‘Piano/Keyboard Player of The Year’. It is the fourth win and seventh consecutive nomination for David Vest in the category.
