In a statement posted on Wednesday February 1, 2017, organizers of Tofino/Ucluelet’s Otalith Music Festival have announced that they are freezing the attendance capacity for this year’s festival at 1500. In the statement organizers say that “as popularity increased, festival attendance doubled every year, and in 2016 the festival sold out a month before gates opened.” They have come to the conclusion that in order to preserve its intimate feeling, Otalith has reached its attendance limit.”
All Access Tickets to the 2017 festival will go on sale Thursday, February 9, 2017
