Music retailer HMV Canada is going into receivership, which means all its remaining 102 stores will close permanently by April 30, 2017. This includes the last remaining Victoria location at Mayfair Shopping Centre.
HMV currently employs about 1340 people in Canada.
The Mayfair HMV location will maintain their regular business hours until the final closing date. Store closing sales have already started.
