15. Dirty Mountain at Lucky Bar- Ashes (April 2, 2016)
Dirty Mountain released their first full-length album ’01’ in March 2016 and quickly landed spots at Car Free YYJ, Tall Tree Music Festival and Sunfest Country Music Festival on the island. While I was shooting their CD release show at Lucky Bar in April and listening closely to the performance, I started wondering to myself what does their sound remind me of? After a while it donned on me… Their sound reminds me of Sheryl Crow. Strong songwriting with an alt-country-blues rock style.
