The City of Victoria has put out a call for musicians for 2017 city-programmed concerts and events including the annual Concerts in The Park at the Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park and Lunchtime Concerts in Centennial Square from June to September 2017. The City is updating its roster of pre-qualified, local musicians from a range of genres to perform throughout the year.
Preference will be given to musicians living in the capital region and will be assessed based on broad appeal, technical expertise and talent by a team of City of Victoria staff and local music professionals. Selected musicians will be contacted in March.
Applicants should send links to samples of their work by midnight Tuesday January 31, 2017. Musicians who are on the 2016 roster need to submit an updated application for 2017. Late applications will be considered for 2018.
