Victoria punk music legends NoMeans No announced their retirement in a Facebook post made Saturday September 24, 2016.
In the statement John Wright says “a hiatus became a long hiatus and a lingering hiatus has become a permanent one.”
Last year the band was inducted into the 2015 Western Canadian Music Hall of Fame. NoMeansNo performed a four song acoustic medley at the awards ceremony held at the McPherson Playhouse.
