Victoria’s Kale Penny, lead singer of Sunday Buckets and former lead singer of Victoria cover band The Bright Side, has won LG104.3 FM’s VanCOVER contest for November 2015. VanCOVER is a monthly contest where BC artists submit covers of songs from the 60s, 70s & 80s for a chance to win $5000. Kale Penny’s winning entry is a cover of Peter Gabriel’s ‘Sledgehammer’.
