BreakOut West announced the performer lineup for the 2015 BreakOut West Festival and Western Canadian Music Awards at a news conference at Lucky Bar. BreakOut West and the WCMAs are being held in conjunction with Rifflandia Thursday September 17 to Sunday September 20, 2015. The lineup with links to most artists is further down this post.
The 13th annual Western Canadian Music Awards Gala will be held at Victoria’s McPherson Playhouse Sunday September 20, 2015 at 9pm PST, directly after the end of Rifflandia. The Awards show will be hosted by CBC Radio 3’s Grant Lawrence and will feature performances by 2015 Hall of Fame inductees NoMeansNo along with Sarah MacDougall, Annette, Jesse Roper, The Wet Secrets, The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer and Tanya Tagaq. More performers are still to be announced.
Registration for BreakOut West’s 2015 conference is now open until August 10th.
