1. Vince Vaccaro at Rock The Royal – Jasper (May 24, 2014)
This moment is my number one local artist moment of 2014 because of the shear number of local artists on one stage performing one song. Vince Vaccaro covered Victoria’s Aidan Knight’s ‘Jasper’ at Rock The Royal in May 2014 and was joined first by Mike Edel and Colin McTaggart, then by Acres of Lions and Dave Zellinsky of Towers and Trees, then by Kuba Oms, Adam Kittredge of Thieves, Felicia Harding of Isobel Trigger and Sjoerd Meyer of The Carlines. The fact that a performance of Aidan Knight’s ‘Jasper’ by other local artists is my number one moment for a second year a row is a testament to how respected Aidan Knight and his music are in the Victoria Music Scene.
