The Vic High R&B Band at Royal Athletic Park – Maybe you’re asking yourself… Why is a high school band performing at Rifflandia? Well, if you want to support the growth of local music you start with a high school program that encompasses the entire music program in high schools across Victoria. The Vic High R&B band takes auditions from students in grades 9 through 12 in multiple high schools. The program has been featured in documentaries and many who have participated in the band have gone on to successful music careers. Below is a very brief clip we found of the Vic High R&B Band performing at the Oak Bay Tea Party in June.
