4. Weird Party at Rifflandia 2014- Impromptu free-style with JuJu of The Beatnuts (September 12, 2014)
For the last two years Colin McTaggart’s Studio CMCT venue at Rifflandia has held after hours shows that aren’t listed in the Rifflandia schedule that tend to go till 3am. Covering the after hours shows means you’re probably going to be exhausted after being at Royal Athletic Park all day then running around all evening at the night venues and later having to get up early for the War Child Lounge, but the after hours shows are totally worth it. You never know who might show up. This year, Weird Party an instrumental jazz funk band from Victoria performed and who happened to show up and make a surprise impromptu performance with the band? Juju from The Beatnuts.
