3. Steph Macpherson at Rock The Royal – Coalmine (May 24, 2014)
One of the requirements of artists performing at Rock The Royal in May was that they had to perform a cover of a song by another local artist/band. Steph Macpherson performed Armchair Cynics’ ‘Coalmine’. Armchair Cynics last performed as a band in September of 2010 so it was a nice surprise when Kenn Coutu joined Steph on stage to perform the song as a duet. Steph Macpherson could be in for a great 2015 after recently returning from recording her next album in Nashville, Tennessee. And hopefully this isn’t the last we see of Kenn Coutu in the local music scene.
