The Victoria Jazz Society has announced the headliners for their weekend of ‘Funk ‘n Soul in the Township’ at Bullen Park.
The three shows are part of TD Victoria International JazzFest 2025.

Friday June 27, 2025 will feature a twin bill of the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio and the Lowdown Brass Band.

The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio return to the festival for the first time since 2022. The trio features organist Delvon Lamarr, Ashley Ickes on drums and Brice Calvin on guitar performing a soul-jazz concoction of “feel-good music.”

The Lowdown Brass Band are another band returning to the festival. The horn ensemble that performs a mix of hip-hop, reggae and soul were last in Victoria in 2023. Their show will surely have the audience dancing in the park.
