Victoria’s Niloo has released her debut 5-song self-titled EP available for digital download and streaming.
“The songs for this EP were written in isolation at the depth of the global pandemic, between the spring of 2020 to early winter 2021,” said Niloo in an email to Victoria Music Scene. “They explore the sudden ending of impactful relationships and move through topics of heartbreak, grief, solitude, reflection and growth.”
Niloo wanted to create a nostalgic, warm and forlorn sound to the record. A Juno 106 synth that is featured prominently through out the EP plays a large part in creating that mood.
