The City of Victoria is now accepting applications for their 2019 roster of pre-qualified, local musicians to perform at events such as the annual concerts in Centennial Square and Beacon Hill Park. Applicants may also be chosen for events like Canada Day or have their names passed on to other organizations hiring local musicians.
Musicians are invited to apply online and provide links to samples of their music by midnight Sunday January 20, 2019. Preference will be given to artists based in the Capital region and will be assessed on their “broad appeal, technical expertise and talent and will be reviewed by a team of City of Victoria staff and local music professionals.”
They also ask that you indicate your performance fee range, but be aware that the concerts are free community events.
