The 2014 Vancouver Island Cultural Festival (V.I.C. Fest) has announced Aidan Knight, Kathryn Calder and Said The Whale’s Tyler Bancroft & Ben Worcester will be panelist for Music BC’s Songwriter Sessions at the festival at St. Ann’s Academy Saturday June 14, 2014.
The Songwriter Sessions begin with a songwriting workshop where songwriters of all levels are welcome to bring their instruments and share their songs and be critiqued by the panelists. The panel will also share their secrets on the songwriting process.
The second part of the sessions is the Songwriters Circle where the panelists perform their favourite songs and tell the stories on how the songs were written.
Admission is included with a V.I.C. Fest wristband or free for current paid Music BC members.
