The City of Victoria has announced $150,000 in funding for a grant program to support music in Victoria.
Not-for-profit organizations, or musicians and music sector professionals in collaboration with a not-for-profit organization can apply for up to $10,000 for music projects within the City of Victoria.
An online information session about the program will take place on Google Teams on Thursday May 18, 2023 at 5:30pm. The information is free. Registration is at eventbrite.com
There will also be an open office drop-in session at The NeighbourSpace (711 Douglas Street) Thursday May 25 from 4 to 6pm. Interested applicants are invited to ask questions about the program with city staff.
The program has a rolling intake with monthly submission deadlines at the end of each month until November 30, 2023 or until the program’s funds have been allocated.
