The Victoria Ska & Reggae Society is launching the Victoria Ska Reggae Broadcast System. The society will be recording and streaming performances, interviews and visual arts throughout the summer beginning this weekend (July 4 and 5).
With the Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival being forced to postpone like many large-scale events due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the festival’s way of providing some entertainment to ska and reggae fans both locally and around the world.
The initial broadcast will feature live performances by Apex Breaks and Mad Riddim on July 4 and The Capital Collective, Gisto & Lt. Irie and Ganjo Man on July 5.
The artists will be performing from High Ground Creative by Nature
The live stream can be viewed at victoriaskafest.ca, Facebook and Instagram
