Atomique Productions presents the 2017 Rifflandia Festival Thursday September 14 to Sunday September 17, 2017. The full lineup and schedule has been released. Some of the artists added to the lineup include G Gones, Grand Theft, Slynk, Illvis Freshly, Youngblood, LIINKS and Carmanah.

A total of 85+ newly announced second wave artists join the festival’s top headliner, Moby, who will be performing a DJ set. While yet to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the New York artist has been eligible since 2015. He recently released his 14th album ‘More Fast Songs About the Apocalypse’ for free download and also recently made a guest appearance on a new episode of Twin Peaks.

Fifty artists/bands are female led and three quarters of this year’s lineup call BC home. Rifflandia has also expanded last year’s hugely successful “Electric Avenue” from 3 venues to 5 adding The Duke Saloon and The Hop in addition to The Phillips Backyard, Capital Iron and Anian. Studio Robazzo is also a new venue this year. Gone this year are the all-ages night venues Alix Goolden Hall, The Metro Theatre, Wood Hall, Victoria Event Centre, The Mint and Northern Quarter. The schedule on the website lists all night venues (Phillips Backyard, Capital Iron, Sugar, The Duke, Anian, Lucky Bar, Copper Owl, Studio Robazzo, The Hop) as 19+
