Grammy and JUNO award-winning singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk will headline the second annual Victoria Folk Music Festival at Royal Athletic Park.

Joining her at the top of the card are alt-country legends The Sadies, prairie roots favourites The Deep Dark Woods and another legend in Barney Bentall.

The festival will take place Saturday July 4, 2026.

The 2025 edition that was headlined by Frazey Ford and Joel Plaskett sold out a week in advance.

“The first year set such an incredible tone,” said festival founder Dylan Stone. “We cannot wait to build on it. The response from the community was overwhelming. There’s a clear appetite here for a folk festival that stands proudly alongside those in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary, while still feeling uniquely our own.”

Stone, who is also a musician, will also be performing with his band The Unfaithful Servants. The lineup is rounded out with Shari Ulrich, Valdy, Daniel Wesley, Stephanie Cadman, Bill Johnson and Elise Leblanc.

Festival organizers have tweaked the site layout improving crowd flow and making sound upgrades. The grounds will also feature a pop-up market by ReLove Vintage, food vendors, a kids zone and surprise performances at the ‘Pickin’ Shack side stage’.
