Courtney LaPlante, lead singer of Victoria metal band Spiritbox performed on the Coachella main stage wit Megan Thee Stallion Sunday night.

LaPlante was one of a number of surprise guests during Megan Thee Stallion’s set. Other guests included Ciara and Queen Latifah.

LaPlante was there for the live performance debut ‘TYG’, a single that Spiritbox collaborated with Megan The Stallion. The song was released in October 2024.

“Make some motherfuckin’ noise for Courtney from fuckin’ Spiritbox!” Megan Thee Stallion exclaimed before yelling for a stage worker to fix her mic.

Courtney LaPlante mostly stayed in the background with spotlights shining on her and never stepped up front, but her signature metal screams were definitely heard.

Spiritbox have collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion twice. The other song they released together was a rock remix of ‘Cobra’ in late 2023.

Spiritbox are touring North America with their closest stop being a show at the PNE Forum on May 6, 2025. Victoria’s poor sport were announced as an additional opener this week.
