Gwen Stefani made a surprise appearance at Sunfest in Lake Cowichan during Blake Shelton’s headlining performance at the festival Sunday.
The pop superstar who had been announced to headline Laketown Shakedown 2024 about an hour beforehand took the stage to duet with her husband Shelton of their singles ‘Nobody But You’ and ‘Happy Anywhere’.
They performed in front of a record breaking audience for the festival with attendance for Sunfest cracking 13,000 on Friday alone.

Gwen Stefani will perform at Laketown Shakedown on Sunday June 30, 2024. The festival will take place over three days from Friday June 28 to Sunday June 30. Tickets for the festival go on sale Tuesday August 29, 2023 at laketownshakedown.com
First tier early bird tickets to Sunfest 2024 go on sale Tuesday August 22, 2023 at sunfestconcerts.com. That festival will take place Thursday August 1 to Sunday August 4, 2024.
