Victoria’s Jeremy James has released a music video for his single ‘hey, how ya been’.
‘Hey, how ya been’ was initially written in September 2020 and captures Jeremy James’ experiences of isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic and his journey of self-acceptance as a queer artist.
It a media release about the music video James says that he used what tools that were available to him. “A camera, a cheap bottle of chardonnay, dollar store props and a bathtub, to create something more than just his honest story of heartbreak, jealousy, and anger.”
James wanted to create a video that honestly portrayed his story while also poking fun at the melodrama of his own lived experiences through his divorce, and finding himself within the supportive queer community in Victoria.
