Possible COVID-19 Exposure at Irish Times Pub

In a news release sent out Friday November 20, 2020, Island Health reported a possible COVID-19 exposure at Irish Times Pub in downtown Victoria that occurred on Friday November 13, 2020.

Anyone who attended Irish Times between 5pm and 8:30pm that evening are asked to monitor themselves for symptoms. If symptoms develop, Island Health says you should self-isolate immediately and seek testing.

Contact tracing has been completed and the exposure is believed to be low risk. Island Health says if you were at Irish Times during the timeframe of possible exposure, it does not necessarily mean you were infected.

The pub remains open for business and is continuing to feature live music with performers being behind plexiglass according to a recent Facebook post.
