Victoria’s Allegra Bonifacio has released a music video of a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ that she recorded with fellow Victoria musicians Aaron Scoones, Alexander Ferguson, Chris Neal, Kristina Helene, Shanna Dance, Thomas Kinzel, Steven Taddei and Michael Zurmehly.
The cover is based of a Aretha Franklin version of the Simon & Garfunkel classic and each part was recorded remotely during the COVID-19 self isolation.
Bonifacio, who is a vocalist in Victoria cover bands The Timebenders and Linggo, says she has been missing performing with and for people due to the global situation.
“I managed to gather a group of very talented musicians I am honoured to call my friends to remotely put together this cover of one of my favourites,” says Bonifacio on the music video’s description.
