In an email to ticket holders and statement on social media, organizers of the inaugural Crown of Sound officially announced the festival will not take place in 2020.

Organizers are working with artists and city stakeholders to plan for 2021 and are giving ticket holders the option to hold on to their ticket for next year or receive a refund.

Crown of Sound was to be a brand new festival that was scheduled to take place at Langford’s Westhills Stadium on June 13, 2020. The music lineup would have featured Bishop Briggs, Allan Rayman, Jesse Roper and Carmanah with more to be announced had the COVID-19 pandemic not shut the world down days following the festival being made public.

TICKET INFO: THANK YOU and big virtual hugs for showing us your patience during this time 🙂 It is likely no surprise to anyone that Crown of Sound 2020 will not be happening. We are working with artists and city stakeholders to plan for 2021, and during this time of uncertainty we want to do right by ticket buyers by presenting you with an opportunity to keep your ticket in place for next year, or receive a ticket refund.  We fully intend to produce events when it's safe to do so, but ultimately there is no show without you, our ticket buyers. By making this difficult decision, we are hopeful that you will attend and support us in the future when the show eventually goes on. Ticket holders please search your email for [email protected] Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate these exceptional times.  We look forward to bringing you a new show at Westhills Stadium as soon as we are able.
