A new adaptive learning platform for singers called Singdaptive has officially launched.

The subscription-based online learning platform features 16 world-class instructors representing vocal techniques, health, vocal effects, creativivty, songwriting, audio & technology, performance coaching and effective practice pedagogy teaching via recorded video lessons. A promotional video for the platform says it is for all singers who want to get better.

The platform uses an survey called the SingerPath to connect musicians to learning content tailored to their needs and interests. Each course comes with lessons, quizzes and actions that they say will extend learning.

Singdaptive was started in Victoria by former TC Helicon CEO Kevin Alexander and three partners who noticed that learning to sing online was often limited to a single genre, teacher or method. “During my time at TC-Helicon we learned that over 50% of guitarists sing,” said Alexander. “We wanted to create a platform where all musicians could address the singing side of their musical life.”

The platform launched with more than 200 lessons. A monthly subscription plan costs $24.99 US per month or $249 US for a full year.
