In a post on Facebook, Tall Tree Music Festival issued a plea for help locating thousands of dollars of equipment stolen from a storage container in Port Renfrew.
Equipment taken in the theft included electrical equipment, lighting, cooking equipment, power tools, decorative items and infrastructure. With the festival taking a hiatus in 2018 due to financial constraints, the theft is a set back for organizers.
Anyone with information regarding the theft or the whereabouts of the stolen equipment are requested to contact Sooke RCMP at 250-642-5241.
