14. Toy Maker at Vic42 Studios- Medana Court (February 27, 2016)
In February 2016 long-time local music supporter and Band of The Month sponsor Vic42 left their studio space behind Discovery Coffee on Discovery Street, but not before one last concert. And why not go off with a bang with some punk rock. Toy Maker got the raucous crowd going to start the final show. Frontman David Goertzen’s energy is infectious. It’s the first time I had ever seen Toy Maker and it was cool hearing most of the audience around me belting out the lyrics. In October Toy Maker released a six-song EP called ‘Boy Kings’.
