19. Karly Summers at Market Square- Rewind (August 16, 2015)
For the last few years Market Square has been one of my favourite places to shoot during the summer. So it was disappointing to find out The Courtyard Sessions in Market Square didn’t happen, but then I found out Market Square would had scheduled some live performers during their flea markets on the weekend. One of the artists performing was Karly Summers. After listening to a few tunes online and noticing she’s had some media attention in her early years I decided to check out her performance. Her voice reminds me a bit of Maren Ord whom you may remember for songs like ‘Sarah‘ and ‘Perfect‘ from the late 90s/early 2000s. Karly Summers is one new discovery I’d like to see with a full band in the future.
