Victoria’s LABS have placed second in Vancouver radio station LG 104.3‘s ‘VanCover‘ contest. LG 104.3’s VanCover program is a monthly competition BC based artists can enter to win up to $5000 by submitting a cover of a hit song from the 1970s or 1980s.
LABS placed second for their cover of Johnny Hates Jazz hit ‘Shattered Dreams’ and have won $1000. You can listen to their cover on their SoundCloud page by CLICKING HERE or via the embedded player below
The November grand prize winner was Vancouver band Gay Nineties with a cover of Tom Petty’s ‘American Girl’.
