Six Victoria bands/songwriters have made the list of 1883 semi-finalsists for the 2012 International Songwriting Competition (ISC). They were “narrowed” down from more than 20,000 submissions.
The International Song Writing Competition is “an annual song contest whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena.” There’s over $150,000 in cash and prizes to be awarded in the competition. Winners will be announced sometime in April (2013).
