13. Current Swell at V.I.C. Fest 2012- How Could They Trust Us (June 16, 2012)
Current Swell have done a lot since winning the 2011 Peak Performance Project. A couple highlights included touring Brazil and opening for The Tragically Hip at Rock The Shores. Friends who went to Rock the Shores that weren’t all too familiar with the band gave rave reviews for their performance which made me more disappointed I wasn’t able to go. This video of Current Swell performing ‘How Could They Trust Us’ at V.I.C. Fest 2012 makes this list because it allowed me to use unreleased video from last year when the performance of the song got cut off on Canada Day 2011 due to the fireworks starting. Also being able to shoot the V.I.C. Fest performance on the stage and have a trombone player tower above me was just an amazing experience.
