After a two year hiatus, Laketown Shakedown is back… and so are Wu-Tang Clan who will finally headline the music festival at Laketown Ranch after their headlining spot in 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Another well-known name joining Wu-Tang Clan on Canada Day is Sugar Ray. Opening the festival on Thursday June 30, 2022 are a pair of Canadian favourites in Arkells and LIGHTS. The Glorious Sons will make their Vancouver Island return headlining the final day after being forced to cancel their January concert at The Royal Theatre. That day will be sub-headlined by Big Boi.
Supporting acts include, JJ Wilde, Haviah Mighty, Dear Rouge, The Halluci Nation Goldfish, Felix Cartal, Daniel Wesley and a long list of local flavour.
Laketown Shakedown 2022 takes place at Laketown Ranch in Lake Cowichan, BC Thursday June 30 to Saturday July 2, 2022.
