12. Dope Soda at Victoria Ska & Reggae Fest 2016- Theme Song Medley (June 25, 2016)
Dope Soda shows always provide fun times both lyrically (like when Dave Dirt sings a song about his cat Simon) and with their brand of ska. There was no better example than this year at the Victoria Ska & Reggae Fest. You know you’re at a good show at the Victoria Event Centre when their dance floor is packed and you can literally feel the floor bouncing under your feet and start wondering, “is this floor going to collapse?”. I first heard this theme song medley in 2015 at Longwoodstock in Nanaimo. It never gets old. Part of the fun is guessing all the theme songs from famous movies, tv shows and video games mixed in.
