The Victoria Symphony presents 007 and the Other Spies at the Royal Theatre on Friday January 25 and 26, 2013
Just as synonymous with James Bond as a smoking gun and a shaken, not stirred martini is the music. The best known of these pieces is the ubiquitous James Bond Theme. Other featured Bond music includes the Grammy Hall of Fame Goldfinger (originally sung by Shirley Bassey) and You Only Live Twice (sung by Nancy Sinatra). Also on the program are The Pink Panther, Mission Impossible and other notorious spy anthems.
