News: Victoria’s Ian McDougall, Fraser Campbell, Adonis Puentes & David Travers-Smith Nominated for 2014 Juno Awards

2014 Juno NomineesThe 2014 Juno Awards nominees were announced Tuesday February 4, 2014. A handful of nominees are from or based in Victoria.

UVic professor Ian McDougall’s album ‘The Ian McDougall 12tet LIVE’ is nominated for Traditional Jazz Album of The Year. Ian Fraser’s album ‘Search The Heavens’ is nominated for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year. Recording Engineer and producer David Travers-Smith is nominated for Recording Engineer of the Year. Finally, Adonis Puentes’ album ‘Sabor A Cafe’ is nominated for World Music Album of the Year.

The 2014 Juno Awards will be handed out Sunday March 30, 2014 and will be broadcast on CTV.
