14. Georgia Murray at Quadra Village Night- Blue Jeans [Lana Del Ray cover] (May 11, 2013)
For the past few years the Quadra Village neighbourhood hosts a block party type event on Kings Road with pancake breakfast, kids activities and live music in May. This year The [email protected] and 100.3 The Q put on Quadra Village Night in their front parking lot. Georgia Murray was one of the performers and performed this cover of Lana Del Ray’s ‘Blue Jeans’ using that used a loop machine that layered the song with her voice mixed with various vocal effects. One of the cooler moments captured this year for me. Georgia also finally performed at Rifflandia after having to cancel two years ago due to commitments with a CBC music reality show.
